We broke tradition and had our toasts sitting down at an informal opening.

 

The Club Assembly started with a report on the Tour of Homes.  Slightly less net money but still close to $30,000.  Final numbers are not in yet.  Challenges for next year continue to be number of volunteers including head hostesses.

 

Barb reported that plans for the East Coast party on May 10 2019.  Tickets will be $113.  Menu expanded to include chicken, steak.  It will be at Hellenic Centre.  There will be one music act this year. 

 

The music festival entries are about $2,300.  Secretarial work going well.  Dates will be Feb 25 to Mar 1.

 

Jennifer reported cheques have gone to regular places including Y, Christmas Care, Salvation Army, as well as Dutton Splash and Pearce Williams.

 

Adrianna wants our volunteer hours returned to her.

 

Jennifer Babcock was the winner of 50/50!

Malcolm 2 – family Christmas this weekend and 38^th year of progressive dinner meeting with 5 couples.

Jennifer 2 – winning 50/50 and thankful for opportunities

 

Ron 2 – son’s xmas apartment party and a great tour meeting

 

Trish 2 – thanks for Stew’s help with tour and putting up her Christmas tree.
