In 2 weeks, we are planning for a guest speaker by Zoom regarding World Polio Day. It is actually celebrated on Saturday, October 24. The Greatest Meal to help end Polio is a concept started in Australia. We could host a meal with those who live in our home or virtually with others and donate to End Polio Now. The World's Greatest Meal originated in Australia and has been a consistent fundraiser for some time across the globe. The Rotary Foundation/Music Festival recently received a significant gift of money from the Bushell estate. Please see the link below regarding how the estate is promoting the gift: Recently a West Elgin Family of 6 children, 2 adults, and 1 yet born was made homeless by a house fire. Barb asks us to see the link bellow (The person who is organizing relief for the family says that their central storage is full. The family is residing with parents and looking for rental accommodation. The father recently got a job.
