Malcolm hopes we can join with the RCRC when the 2 speakers come from the STEGH and Foundation for a 5.30pm meeting. Date to be decided. RCRC has been meeting on line. They may be looking at a new location.
When we meet at St. Thomas Seniors Centre it will only be for lunch meetings. Any evening meetings will have to be held elsewhere.
Catharine had visited Trudy’s mother, June (who was on hand to greet us weekly at the Wayside in the good old days).Gerry and Catharine visited the Lambeth club on Tuesday: Catharine as guest speaker, and Gerry as Assistant Governor.
Catharine will be talking to the club about stress/ cancer and more. She shared news of a new treatment for prostrate cancer involving flax seed.
Mark’s wife is Jamie, a cancer survivor
Ron is having challenges with his computer. Best to phone him with important info.
Their new dog is Nicole/Niki. We shared puppy chewing stories!

The St. Thomas Chamber of commerce will be promoting the Rotary Discovery Tour.
Gerry distributed business cards for the tour promotion. He and Catharine will be selling tickets at the Horton Market.
District Governor Mike Chaffee wants us to nominate a candidate for District 6330 Governor for the Rotary year 2025-2026. He is visiting clubs according to the following: October 3-6 for Areas 4/5/10.
Our district had our first Arch Klump society member because of his large donation to the foundation.
Malcolm won the 50/50 draw.
Next meeting Wed 31Aug22 12PM: Far end of Pinafore Park (south end) under the large tree just to the left of the small pavilion before the turn-around circle.
