President Mark reported from the board that we will donate $5000 this year and $5000 next year to Indwell. Also we will donate to the hospital campaign for an MRI: $5000 per year for the next 5 years.

Our family wish to say THANK YOU to you personally, to Jim Morrison and Joanne Howarth, Barbara and to all members of Rotary Club of St Thomas!!! You opened your warm hearts and hugs to welcome us in St Thomas; guided us through the town (Malcolm made an appointment at YWCA for us, brought a lot of newspaper, maps and papers bags to collect leaves, bought a lunch meal for us at McDonalds, and gifted just an amazing flowers in our first day in St Thomas).
Jim and Joanne invited us twice for the delicious dinners in their house. We spent a wonderful time talking with them and enjoyed delicious steaks and burgers, made by Jim. Also, they gifted to our daughter Yeva a bicycle with training wheels, wonderful small dresser, cleaning and kitchen supplies, rugs, dishes, clothes, kid’s books. Barbara shared some information that might match Alex’s professional interest on it. Garry Ganssen has given his personal contact information (in case of our need) and guided us to show where the nearest grocery store located.
We are deeply grateful to all of you guys!!! Your help and support are priceless!!! We filled of your love and light! Your attention and everyday presence in our life is wordsless!!! From Adriana: During the week of 11th to 17th of September we are celebrating community week. The members of Rotary Club of St. Thomas are inviting your service organization to partner with us in an effective project for our community. It is a simple and quick project where we can work together to Celebrate Community to serve and demonstrate the value of service organizations . We are planning a cleaning day on September 16, 2023 around Pinafore Park and Lake Margaret starting at 9 am, meeting on the Lions International pavilion between the park and the lake.
Meeting next week will be at Alma College Square, 96 Moore St, St Thomas. Please notify Stew of your planed attendance and Meet at 12pm outside the entrance. Stew will escort you to the 8th floor patio and large meeting room. Chairs are provided. 30Aug23 District Governor visit as we return to Senior Centre for weekly meeting. Another special guest has been invited. Come prepared for "inspection of our troop".

Trudy 4- liked hosting, new lawn mower, to Kingston with mother, 80 of 125 km completed on bike in support of fight against childhood cancer
Adriana 2– Brother visit, Niece in Maui helping with fire until she had to leave
Gerry 4 – Sister Bday, Weekend Pt Franks, Trudy’s yard, Joanne in attendance
Ron 2- Trudy's backyard, Butterfly stories
Pat 6 – Holidays east, Turkey Point, Bayfield, more chemo, son also getting chemo and radiation, Trudy hosting
