14Sep22 First meeting at the Senior's Centre, St Thomas
The meeting opened with toast to King and Country (a momentous change in ceremony), RI,  Mark led the 4way test, and meditation by Malcolm.

Cindy Benning was officially inducted by Gerry (Assistant Governor, Area 10) into membership of the Rotary Club of S.t Thomas and her continuing membership with Rotary International. Cindy thanked the club for their welcome and plans to inspire us. She was presented with Certificate of Membership and other documentation about Rotary (See pic).
She has sweet Concord grapes on her property and we are invited to bring empty baskets next week to take home with her grapes.
 
The District Newsletter, year ahead report from RI President, Jennifer Jones (Sarnia) and Foundation Magazine are a lot more extensive now than during COVID, so your editor is assuming members are getting copies. Info available upon request.

From the Bracashirts Cancer Education Series.  "Immunology and the Impact of Stress on Our Health and Cancer". She was asked to deliver a 45 minute talk with 15 minutes for Q & A.
